Lillian's List endorses Kerry Sutton

Durham lawyer Kerry Sutton announced today she has received a boost to her plans to run for state Senate: an endorsement from Lillian’s List of N.C.
Sutton, 50, has been involved in several high-profile criminal cases in Durham. She is running for the newly created District 22, which covers part of Durham County and all of Person and Caswell counties. There is no incumbent in the district.
Lillian’s List supports pro-choice, Democratic women candidates. The state chapter has previously announced its support of Gov. Bev Perdue, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, Treasurer Janet Cowell and Auditor Beth Wood.
