    Make a Contribution

Lillian’s List is excited to recommend Beth Jones to our members.  Dr. Jones is a veterinarian, businesswoman and education advocate from Lenoir who is running for an open seat in the NC Senate.

Small business owner

Beth and her husband, Dan Jones, DVM manage their busy Caldwell County veterinary practice. In 2000, Beth served on the Board of Health in Caldwell County and the American Business Women’s Association named her as its Woman of the Year. As a small business owner for the past decade, Beth understands what it takes to operate a successful business.

Education advocate

Beth serves as a Trustee at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute, a position she has held for the past two years. As an alumnus of two public universities, Beth understands the value and importance of affordable public education and she has spent her time as a Trustee fighting to improve local public education at a low cost.

Deep roots in the community

Dr. Beth Jones has been married to Dr. Dan Jones since 1992. They have two children, Caleb, 13, and Ivey, 11 who attend public schools in Caldwell County. Beth and Dan are members of First United Methodist Church in Lenoir and participate in the Blue Ridge Horseman’s Association.  Beth is also involved with the March of Dimes in her community.

The District

This district has been represented by Republicans, but the numbers are changing and it is possible for a progressive Democratic woman to win this seat.
